This is the first release of the Seekra frontend.
Major Highlights
Search bar and search results page
A search bar was added to the start page. On its right, there is a button to submit the search. Of course, you can also press enter to submit.
When submitting the search, a search results page is shown. As there is no backend right now, only a Search not available message is displayed.
Settings
There is a new settings page. The user can configure Seekra using these settings. Settings are stored persistently.
Currently, there are four types of settings:
- switch
- text input
- number input
- selection
Settings pages can be nested to any depth.
The settings are configured declarative. There is a renderer which displayes the settings according to their configuration.
Legal Notice
In the footer, there is a link to the legal notice. The legal notice is loaded dynamically from the assets server. If JavaScript is disabled, a static link to the URL of the legal notice on the assets server is shown so that the user does not need to enable JavaScript to get legal information.
Color Schemes
Seekra now supports two color schemes: dark and light. Additionally, the system color scheme can be used dynamically.
The color scheme can be either set by clicking the button on the top right or by using the settings section Appearance.
Internationalization
The Seekra frontend is available in different languages. Currently, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian are supported.
There is a dropdown in the footer to select the language. The language can also be set in settings.
