# upload-release-asset

The `upload-release-asset` action uploads a given file as an asset to a release.
|
|
|
|
## Use this action
|
|
|
|
To use this action, simply add following step:
|
|
|
|
```yaml
|
|
- uses: https://gitea.jcloud-services.ddns.net/jCloud/actions/upload-release-asset@60d1ae076c2e1802e4bc9461e26c42c557652811
|
|
with:
|
|
file: YOUR_FILE_PATH
|

## Inputs
|
|
|
|
### `file`
|
|
|
|
The file that shall be uploaded.
|
|
|
|
**Required:** yes
|
|
|
|
### `name`
|
|
|
|
The name of the release asset. If no name is specified, the file name is used.
|
|
|
|
**Required:** false
|
|
|
|
### `release`
|
|
|
|
The ID of the release the asset shall be uploaded to.
|
|
|
|
**Required:** true
|
